The foam problem in the coking process is bordering delayed coke. Since the foundation of coking technology, to solve the foam problem, to reduce foam coating height and to increase treatment ability of equipment have not been stopped. So far, a common method used in home and abroad market is to add antifoaming agent in the equipment, and it has been proved that it is a feasible method.
The use of organic silicon antifoaming agent is the most widely with ideal antifoaming effect, and it can effectively restrain foam coating height. The treatment ability is increased, at the same time, the oil gas fraction breeze carrying capacity is declined a great deal and the operation of coking tower is guaranteed. As the operation temperature of coking tower is high, part of silicon oil will decompose into SiO2 that will be taken into following hydrogenation equipment, and the silicide will make the poisoning of hydrogenation catalyst and reducing the activity of catalyst and seriously prevent the operation of hydrogenation unit. In order to remove these problems, the researchers of home and abroad have been developing low silicon and non silicon antifoaming agent.
At the end of 2004, we started to cooperate with research institutes to research the non-silicon antifoaming agent and we made it. After the compare of laboratory, it has well effect and stable performance.
Antifoaming agent features:
(1)Constitution:multiple organic antifoaming agent complex. It uses the synergistic effect to develop antifoaming effect.
(2)It does not contain silicide and metal substance and will not influence hydrogenation catalyst.
(3)The decomposer contains C,H and O elements without any other elements.

3,Use and using method
Use:It is used in the control of delayed coke tower foam to guarantee the height of foam coating in the coking tower to guarantee the operation of production.
Using method:
①Injection point: top of the tower
②Antifoaming agent: injecting 1.0Mpa steam and avoid concentration of injection point
③Antifoaming agent injection rate:20—100ppm.(according to foam condition)
④Directly injecting or after dilution by diesel and then injecting.
4,Packing,storage and transportation:
Packing:Galvanized drum with the net weight 180kg.
Storage:Stored at cool and ventilated place. Storage temperature: -10~40℃.
Transportation:As the general chemicals.
